Covering

Concrete cover for reinforcement is required to protect the rebar against corrosion and to provide resistance against fire. The thickness of cover depends on environmental conditions and type of structural member.

Spacer are used to separate the rebar layer of  the beams 25mm diameter and 250mm long ( its depend on beam width if  beam width 350mm spacer bar length is 300mm , 50mm deduction for both side covering ,beam side covering depend on construction site) steel road are used as spacer bars.
