STOOL HEIGHT DESIGN
The vertical distance between layers rebar in slab was maintained by stool
which are made by steels.
Designing stool height
Slab thickens = 135mm
Bottom covering = 25mm
Top covering = 25mm
Slab reinforcement diameter = 10mm
Sum of top and bottom Reinforcement diameter = 40mm ( T1+T2+B1+B2)
Stool height = 135 – (25+25+40)
Stool height = 85mm
T1 = top layer 1 B1 = bottom layer 1
T2 = top layer 2 B2 = bottom layer 2
